At Step by Step Nursery & Preschool, we understand that every child experiences adaptation differently. That’s why we prioritize following your child’s individual pace during this period.
We encourage parents to be readily available, especially during the first week, to pick up their child when necessary. The adaptation process varies and can span a week or even longer, depending on your child’s unique needs and comfort level.
When you decide to enroll your child at Step by Step Nursery & Preschool, we collaborate with you to choose the perfect time for their first visit. On their initial day, your child usually spends 30 minutes to an hour at our daycare.
Familiarizing your child with the new Nursery & Preschool environment, caregivers, and new friends is of utmost importance. To facilitate this process, we recommend that parents allow their child to explore independently during this time. This approach helps your child grow accustomed to our daily routine and the nurturing environment they’ll experience throughout their daycare journey with us.
