We are especially proud of the additional activities at Step by Step Kindergarten. We organize a variety of workshops, events, and excursions for each age group, with every activity carefully designed to bring the greatest value to children and further enhance their physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
Additional activities are thoughtfully planned and conducted by our educators, external collaborators, and partner institutions. At our kindergarten, your child will have the opportunity to participate in and help organize events, build empathy, and develop their talents and interests.

Our monthly PJ parties at our preschool offer a host of benefits for both children and their families. These special evenings provide children with a chance to foster independence as they prepare for a night of fun in their pajamas. At Step by Step, we take pride in offering a diverse array of special events and activities that enrich the educational journey of our young learners. Children engage in humanitarian events and fundraisers that teach empathy and compassion fostering a culture of kindness within our community.
Our annual winter concerts and end of year graduation event, help celebrate achievements, providing lifelong memories for both children and their families. During the holiday season, Santa pays us a visit spreading warmth and holiday cheer. Once a year, we organize Sports Day, where our little athletes get a chance to showcase their skills and teamwork, fostering a love for health, physical activity and teamwork.
These special events and activities are integral to Step by Step’s holistic approach to education, ensuring that our young learners experience the magic of learning and personal growth in their educational journey.
In the art and creative workshops for older age groups, we explore various artistic techniques, create both group and individual projects, and teach children to develop visually and express themselves.
In our drama workshops, we create, rehearse, and perform plays where the children take on various roles both on stage and behind the scenes. This helps them practice public speaking, proper pronunciation, and managing stage fright.
We regularly organize “Experimentation Workshops,” where children of kindergarten and preschool age participate together in activities that expand their interests and skills. Some of the favorites include cooking workshops, exploratory workshops, and scientific experimentation workshops.
Throughout the year, we organize excursions and educational visits that complement thematic units and expand the children’s language and cultural knowledge. Children, accompanied by educators, explore the outside world and become familiar with various institutions and events, discovering and broadening their interests.
Excursions include visits to museums, the zoo, the theater, botanical gardens, and more. We constantly add new events suitable for our students.
Throughout the year, the kindergarten carries out various charity activities involving children, parents, and staff. In this way, we cultivate compassion, solidarity, and social responsibility in the children.
In collaboration with a professional speech therapist, we provide individual speech therapy sessions for children who need additional support in developing their speech and language skills. Parents are informed in advance, and the support is organized according to the child’s needs and in agreement with the family.
Our partner, Raspevanko, leads music and rhythm activities for kindergarten and preschool groups. These regular and well-organized sessions, guided by professionals, help children develop a love for music and enhance their motor skills through dance.
Under the guidance of our partner Panta Rei, we organize various sports activities tailored to each age group. These include balance and coordination exercises, competitive games, and organized sports activities using equipment.
We occasionally organize guest events, such as performances, themed days, and mini concerts, in collaboration with our various external partners.
In collaboration with robotics experts, we organize workshops tailored for preschool-aged children. Through play and constructive tasks, children develop logical thinking, spatial awareness, imagination, and an interest in science and technology. This activity promotes critical thinking and early development of digital literacy.
On the last Friday of every month, we organize a PJ Party—a favorite event for the children! Kids stay at the kindergarten after the regular program, wearing pajamas, have dinner together, socialize, participate in fun activities, spend the night at the kindergarten, and enjoy breakfast together in the morning. This experience further strengthens bonds among the children and fosters a sense of belonging, community, and independence.

These activities bring joy, encourage creativity, teamwork, and a sense of freedom in self-expression—above all, fostering a cheerful and positive atmosphere in the kindergarten.
Once a year, we organize Sports Day, which is also a charity event. Children participate in sports games and challenges, developing motor skills, teamwork, and a sense of empathy as they take part in fundraising activities to help children in need.
Every year, we organize an annual concert at an off-site location, featuring children from both our New Belgrade and Banovo Brdo locations. This event is significant as it gives the children the opportunity to perform together and showcase to their parents and family everything they have learned through songs, dance, recitations, and acting.
